Gearing-Up Your Youth Ministry: Doodads, Widgets, and Thingamabobs Can’t Beat a Sound, Relational Ministry
Relational ministry is at the heart of good youth ministry. This workshop is designed to give specific “take home” skills that leaders can use to build rapport with youth group members that can create a safe place for God-talk to occur. Four areas will be presented: Setting the Stage, First Steps, Digging Deeper, and Reiterate (covering most of the “life stages” in youth ministry). Veterans and newcomers in youth ministry alike will have an opportunity to learn new techniques, share best practices, how to foster and facilitate a sense of community and sharing, planning, setting boundaries, and many other essentials for growth and sustainability.
